Within the last 30 minutes, a Transavia flight from Paris to Seville has declared an emergency, forcing a diversion to Madrid.
Information is limited surrounding the incident, but below is what we know on this so far.

Transavia Flight TO4770 – Paris to Seville…
Transavia flight TO4770, which declared the emergency and diverted to Madrid, is a routine scheduled flight between Paris & Seville.
Furthermore, the aircraft involved in the incident is F-HXSY.
As per data from Planespotters.net, F-HXSY is a 0.2 year old Airbus A320neo that was delivered to the carrier back in April 2026 via their French subsidiary.
Of the A320neo variant, Transavia France has 29 of them in their fleet, of which all of them are in active service, with an average fleet age of 1.2 years.
As well as the A320neo, the carrier also has 67 Boeing 737 aircraft within the French subsidiary, of which all but two are in active service, with an average fleet age of 9.3 years.
Transavia France flight TO4770, which declared the emergency and diverted to Madrid, departed from Paris Orly at 2213 local time this evening and headed south towards Seville.
The aircraft got as far as the diversion field’s airspace, where the crew squawked 7700 to declare the emergency and started descending rapidly.
Not too long after that declaration, the aircraft landed safely without further incident.
Reason for the Emergency in Madrid?
At this current moment, it is unclear what the reason for the emergency and diversion to Madrid is for onboard Transavia flight TO4770 from Paris to Seville.
What we do know is that it is serious enough to force a diversion to the Spanish airport.
