Flight Tracking Arrives At The Aviation Hub With EuroSky Live

The Aviation Hub has launched EuroSky Live, a new flight tracking map that shows every aircraft over Europe, the UK and Ireland in real time.
The tool sits under the Flight Tracking tab in the main menu and loads directly in the browser.
It gives spotters, enthusiasts and travellers a single place to watch European air traffic as it happens.
How Flight Tracking Works On EuroSky Live
EuroSky Live plots each aircraft on a live map, with an altitude scale that runs from the ground to 40,000 feet.
Readers click any aircraft to see its route, operator, aircraft details and a photo. A search bar finds flights by callsign, registration or type.
Live counters show how many aircraft are airborne, how many are on the ground and how many have declared an emergency.
A separate panel ranks the busiest operators in the sky at that moment.
Flight Tracking Filters For Every Reader
The flight tracking map includes filters that cut through the clutter.
Readers can hide ground traffic, show military aircraft only or isolate emergencies.
Three altitude bands split the traffic below 10,000 feet, between 10,000 and 25,000 feet and above 25,000 feet.
Readers can also switch aircraft labels on or off.

Emergency Squawks And Flight Tracking
EuroSky Live flags emergency squawks the moment they appear.
That makes flight tracking a natural partner for Squawk 7700, The Aviation Hub’s emergency, accident and incident hub.
Readers can now follow a developing emergency on the map while they read the reporting.
The Data Behind The Flight Tracking Map
Position data comes from the community networks airplanes.live, adsb.lol and adsb.fi. Route and aircraft details come from adsbdb, while planespotters.net provides the photos.
