Ezy Airlines, the Thai domestic carrier, will begin nonstop scheduled service between Surat Thani (URT) and Hua Hin (HHQ) on 7 November 2026, according to AeroRoutes. The route will become only the airline's second scheduled service.

The launch adds a new connection between the Gulf of Thailand coast and the royal resort town of Hua Hin, two destinations that currently have no direct air link. For travellers making their way between the islands served through Surat Thani and the Hua Hin area, the new Cessna-operated service removes the need for lengthy road or rail journeys.
The Schedule
AeroRoutes reports that Ezy Airlines will operate the route twice daily on four days of the week. There will be no service on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, giving eight frequencies each week.
The northbound service, EZT221, departs Surat Thani at 0900 local time and arrives into Hua Hin at 1030. The return, EZT222, leaves Hua Hin at 1320 and touches down back at Surat Thani at 1450. Both flights are therefore comfortably within the morning and early afternoon, which suits day-trip and leisure patterns along this stretch of coastline.
Ezy Airlines' Growing Network
The Surat Thani to Hua Hin service will be Ezy Airlines' second scheduled route. The airline already operates Surat Thani to Utapao, also twice daily and with the same Tuesday-to-Thursday gap, giving eight weekly frequencies on that pairing as well.
The pattern across both routes is consistent: a Cessna aircraft type, a base at Surat Thani, and a schedule weighted towards weekend and Monday or Friday travel. That structure points to a carrier targeting leisure and weekend traffic rather than the daily business commuter.

What to Watch
Ezy Airlines is still a very small operator by any measure, with a network of just two scheduled routes once the Hua Hin service begins. The November 2026 start date gives the airline time to establish itself further, but also means there are several months in which circumstances could change.
The Cessna aircraft operating both routes keep costs low and suit the relatively short stage lengths involved between the Gulf coast airports. Whether demand across the Surat Thani to Hua Hin corridor is sufficient to sustain twice-daily service on four days a week will become clearer closer to launch.
Readers planning travel on the new route should note the operating days carefully. The four-days-a-week pattern means the service is not available mid-week, which will shape how useful it is for anything other than leisure trips.
