Avelo Airlines has pulled its planned New Haven to Jacksonville service from its 2027 schedule, according to AeroRoutes, with the route now absent from forward booking systems before it had a chance to restart.

What the Avelo Airlines 2027 Schedule Had Shown
Before its removal, the 2027 timetable listed twice-weekly flights on the New Haven (HVN) to Jacksonville (JAX) pairing, with operations set to begin on 5 March 2027 and run through to 19 April 2027. The schedule covered a short seasonal window of just over six weeks.
AeroRoutes shows that outbound flight XP475 was timed to depart HVN at 17:08 and arrive JAX at 19:47, with the return, XP476, leaving JAX at 20:32 and landing back at HVN at 22:59. Both legs were initially assigned a Boeing 737-800, with the schedule noting a switch to a Boeing 737-700 from 26 March 2027 onwards.
The Current Season Still Running
The cancellation of the 2027 edition does not affect the current service. AeroRoutes confirms that Avelo is operating the New Haven to Jacksonville route twice weekly through to 16 November 2026, so passengers booked on this winter's flights are not directly affected by the change.
The disappearance of the 2027 dates does, however, mean that no return of the route has been publicly scheduled beyond that November cut-off. Readers interested in Avelo's wider network can explore its services using our Airline Search tool.
What It Means for Passengers
For anyone hoping to book the HVN to JAX pairing for the spring 2027 period, the options have narrowed. The route, as planned, would have offered a direct link between southern Connecticut and north-east Florida across the busier part of the spring travel season. Its removal leaves that market without a direct Avelo option for that period.
Whether the carrier reintroduces the service for a later season has not been announced. The facts available show only that the 2027 schedule entry has been taken down, with no replacement dates filed in its place.
The Bottom Line
A short seasonal route that existed only on paper has been withdrawn before it opened for sale in any meaningful way. Passengers who had been watching the New Haven to Jacksonville pairing for spring 2027 travel will need to make alternative arrangements. The current twice-weekly service to Jacksonville remains in place until 16 November 2026, and that is the only confirmed flying on this route for now.
