The photos

Full-resolution JPEG, up to 40 MB each and 8 MB in one batch. The registration and the date are what buyers search for, so please get them right. Photos over about 97 megapixels need resizing first: make the long edge 12,000 pixels or less, at full JPEG quality.

The contributor agreement

You keep the copyright. We get a non-exclusive licence to show the photo as a watermarked preview and to sell editorial licences to it. You can sell the same photo anywhere else.
You receive 80% of what the photo earns: of each single sale, and of the monthly pool for plans and packs, paid monthly with a statement.
You confirm you took each photo, own it outright, took it from somewhere you were allowed to be, and have not altered it beyond exposure, colour and crop.
You can withdraw any photo on 30 days' notice; licences already sold stand.

Your name, email and the acceptance of the agreement (time, address and agreement version) are kept with each photo under our privacy policy. Nothing is published or sold until James has approved it.
