Video footage has emerged overnight of a Boeing 777 Freighter performing an extremely dangerous low pass in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

Information has been released pertinent to what will no doubt be investigated as an incident.

About The Incident in Texas…


Video footage has emerged overnight of a Boeing 777 Freighter performing an extremely dangerous low pass in Horseshoe Bay, Texas.

The aircraft involved in this incident in Texas was N705DN.

As per data from Planespotters.net, N705DN is a 17.3 year old Boeing 777-200LR(F) that started out passenger life with Delta Air Lines back in March 2009.

In December 2020, it was handed over to Jetran, where it was placed in storage for several years, before it’s cargo conversion started in February this year.

Once the testing of this aircraft is complete, it will be handed over to Qatar Airways Cargo.

It is understood that this incident took place yesterday (24th June).

The aircraft departed from Grissom Arb at 1308 local time and proceeded to operate a test flight around the Texas area.

It is understood that this incident took place at the Horseshoe Bay Jet Centre.

As per @Flightradar24 on X, it is understood that the aircraft was performing a dangerous low pass to the Texas-based airport and went quite low.

Quite low to the point that it’s registered altitude at the time of the low-pass was 0 feet.

From the imagery above, you can definitely see why this would be the case.

The full video seen above shows the Boeing 777 Freighter approaching the airport in Texas.

At around 12 seconds in, you can see the aircraft starting to bank right, even still at the dangerously low altitude.

As it banks away, the right hand wing comes extremely close to scraping the ground and then continued to fly away.

The aircraft landed safely into Fort Worth without further incident at 1423 local time.

It is unclear whether this incident will be investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
