In the last 30 minutes or so, a Transavia flight from Kittila has declared an emergency during it’s descent into Paris Orly Airport.
Information is limited surrounding the incident at hand.
Below is what we know on this so far…
Transavia Flight TVF14XN – Kittila to Paris…

Transavia flight TVF14XN, which declared the emergency, is a flight between Kittila and Paris Orly.
Furthermore, the aircraft involved in the incident was F-HUYI.
As per data from Planespotters.net, F-HUYI is a 12.8 year old Boeing 737-800 that started out life with SAS back in May 2013.
In July 2022, Transavia France took delivery of the aircraft.
Of the 737-800 variant, the French subsidiary has 67 of them in their fleet.
Within the 67, 65 are in active service, and two are parked, with an average fleet age of 12.5 years.
As well as the 67 Boeing 737-800s in their fleet, they also have 23 Airbus A320 family aircraft.
In total, Transavia France has 90 aircraft in their fleet, of which 87 are in active service, and three are parked, offering an average fleet age of 9.6 years.
Transavia Flight TVF14XN, which declared the emergency, departed Kittila at 1440 local time today and headed southbound to Paris Orly.
Everything was normal in the flight until the descent phase.
At around 7,000-10,000 feet, the crew declared an emergency via the 7700 squawk code.
No diversion was needed due to how close the aircraft was to Orly Airport anyway.
At 1702 local time, the Boeing 737-800 made a safe emergency landing without further incident.
Reason for the Emergency Unclear…

At this stage, the reason for the emergency onboard Transavia France flight TVF14XN is unclear.
Furthermore, what we do know is that it is serious to prompt an emergency broadcast to air traffic control.
As soon as we have more information on this emergency, then we will update you in due course.
